Welcome to Baja Sur Fly Fishers! We guide saltwater fishing
trips in Baja's Sea of Cortez just 45 miles north of the Los Cabos
airport.
We cater to fly and light tackle anglers and have been guiding the
Sea of Cortez East Cape since 1994.
Guide Service
Our guide service offers full and half day guided trips.
Jim Shuttleworth and his deck hand guide all of our trips.
Specializing in billfish on the fly, we also guide the following types of trips:
- in-shore and beach fishing
- reef and bottom fishing
- off-shore for tuna and dorado

Featuring Two Styles of Fishing Boats
We have two different styles of boats:
- In-shore 17' Boston Whaler, V-bottom with casting platform. A great set-up for two anglers.
- Off-shore 26' Proline 240 completely set up for all types of off-shore fishing. We like to hold
the number of anglers to a maximum of four during the off-shore fishing days.
Catch and Release
We practice catch and release fishing on all billfish, roosters and Jack Crevalle.
